We've been using these fixings for years now. They are without any doubt the easiest way to fix timber to brick, stone & concrete I've ever come across. Simply drill a 8mm hole through the timber and into the wall and hammer the Express nail in. They are incredibly strong, I've hung 6 foot wide gates on wall plates using these in the past.
